Leader: Sisters, brothers and children of God.  We are reminded today that God connects us in the wonder and delight.
All: We are thankful, that God provides us a SANCTUARY and secured campus.
Leader: Sisters, brothers and children of God, we are blessed with the school administration and faith community who initiated the establishment of the SPMCI providing a contextual and globally competitive academic programs.
People: We are thankful that God provides us a college at the foot of Mt. Apo honing the future educators, pastors, deaconesses and home missioners through PHILIPPINE-BASED and globally competitive curricula.
Leader: Sisters, brothers and children of God, we have given the opportunity to immerse ourselves to the enlightening and empowering learning experiences and processes.
People: We are thankful that God provides us a MEANINGFUL student and community life as we immersed ourselves in the process of learning here at SPMCI.
Leader: Sisters, brothers and children of God, we are blessed as we immersed in the spirituality of SPMCI with competent faculty and staff, who nurtures us and facilitates learning experiences.
People: We are thankful, that God sends COMPETENT and compassionate faculty and staff in our pastoral and academic formation year.
Leader: Sisters, brothers and children of God, we are blessed with different activities, seminars and trainings that hone our intercultural competency, gender sensitivity, and ministry efficiency.
People: We are thankful, that God provides us through SPMCI a lot of opportunity for trainings and forum that is INTERCULTURAL competent, environmental friendly, peace promoting, and gender sensitive.

SENDING-OFF AND BLESSING

INTRODUCTORY WORDS
Pastor: Sisters, brothers and children of God, we are not simply an academic community but an intercultural community who gather together at this moment to offer praise and thanksgiving to God, to commission our students, our brothers and sisters who are going to their field of studies. We are sending them to examine their vocation as future teachers through their observation teaching at Kidapawan City Pilot Elementary School.

At this moment, the enrolled students on Field Study will come forward in front of the Presiding Pastor.

COVENANTING
Pastor: Our dear students, brothers, sisters, and children of God, being called and enrolled here at the Southern Philippines Methodist Colleges, Inc. (SPMCI), as empowered by the grace of God, and be send-off for your Field Study. Commit yourselves to embody the vision and mission of our College. Offer your prayer, time, talents, abilities and resources in support to the vision and mission of the SPMCI.

Field Study Students: We commit to share our gifts to make our Alma Mater, be an SPMCI. We will work to make SPMCI a Safe, secure and environmentally friendly campus. Our performance and attitudes in our Field Studies manifest the uniqueness of SPMCI offering Philippine-based and globally responsive curricula. Our spirituality shared in our Field Studies reveals how our life here at SPMCI is Meaningful and worthy. We commit ourselves to make SPMCI be known of having a Competent Human Resources, facilitating Inter-faith, gender-fair, and inter-culturally relevant training opportunities. This is our covenant.
Pastor: May the God our Parent, gives you the will and strength to keep your covenant. Amen.

PRAYER OF DEDICATION                                                                                                                      
The Pastor lays the hand on the head of each one. While hands are imposed, the Pastor prays:

Lord, pour upon ___________ (them) your Holy Spirit who had been sent outside our campus for Field Study at the Kidapawan City Pilot Elementary School. Guide him/her in the journey.

The pastor raises his/her hand while praying:
Reward his/her faithfulness with knowledge that through him/her Your will be done. Amen.
