Leader: In
the name of God our Parent, Jesus our Christ and Redeemer, and of the Holy
Spirit our comforter.
All:
Amen.
Leader: We gather together today to
give thanks and praise to God! Because God gave us a parents who nurtured us,
laughed with us, and cried with us; taught us and corrected.
People: They love us, whether or not
birthed us.
Leader: We gather together today to
give thanks and praise to God! Because God gave us families who supported us,
walked with us, sung for us, listened to us, eaten and drunk with us, prayed
for us, strengthen us.
People: They love us, whether or not
we share blood.
Leader: Let us praise the Lord our God.
All: Hallelujah!
